Can I call in with it somewhere in Bridlington?

How quickly does a drive posted from Brid come back?
If you post your disk drive tracked on a working day, it should arrive at the Leeds intake lab ready for work the very next morning. There is no charge to assess your disk drive, and you will receive one figure in writing once we have completed the assessment. If your disk drive suffers logical faults, they should typically take less than 2 working days to complete. Seized motors however can take longer; if this is the case with your disk drive, we will advise accordingly.
Our booking database is on one office PC. What now?
Please switch your machine off at the wall and leave it alone. Do not attempt to use any repair tools or a reinstall to try and get it working again. The disk drive will be copied first prior to any attempts being made to fix the issue, therefore the original remains untouched in the condition it was received. Please let us know if a park or guest house is taking bookings on paper in the meantime.
We have a NAS at Bessingby. How should it be sent?
First phone us and get a quote. Next remove all of the disks and label each one with the bay it came from. The bench wants only bare drives, not the enclosure, and the same goes if you have a server or workstation containing multiple disks: agree on the order during the call, because the labelling is what allows us to rebuild the original configuration. If the NAS disks will not come out, you can send the entire NAS unit instead. All items should be posted using tracking and insurance to our Leeds intake lab, or dropped off there (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, no appointment needed).
